Pollinators Process

Pollinators Process

This project consists of a 5-part interpretive signage system explaining the process of a bee making honey and a large placemaking playground structure. This would be installed along a walking path near the Standley Lake Nature Center and existing Pollinator's Garden to further activate the space and invite interaction and play.

What elements make up this brand?

  • The brand for this project was a simple one; I kept it to only a few colors and the brand mark is very descriptive of the project. The honey yellow provides a warm and welcoming feel to the entire system, and the honeycomb shape connects every element together, helping create a cohesive narrative throughout each piece of the installation.

  • The color palette for this brand uses a honey-yellow and a green to help signage remain visible without interrupting the natural space.

  • For this brand I used Montserrat SemiBold for the header type, and Oswald ExtraLight for the body copy.
